Blue Star Welcome Week Parent coffee
Today, Franklin Middle School had the honor of hosting a special parent coffee event as part of our Blue Star Week celebration. Our library was filled with the warmth of conversation and the spirit of community as military families joined our staff for a morning of sharing and connection. The event provided a unique opportunity for our school community to express our gratitude and support for the sacrifices these families make in service to our nation.
Throughout the morning, we were privileged to hear the experiences of both parents and children in military families. Their stories of resilience, adaptability, and unwavering support for one another were truly inspiring. Our staff and civilian families gained valuable insights into the unique challenges and strengths of military life, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for these remarkable members of our school community.
In addition to the food and fellowship of the event, staff heard from key faces at Franklin, including our Administration, Counselors, Social Worker, Coaches, Family Liaison, Office Staff, and a member of our PTA Board. Before ending the event, Mr. Tippins, our After School Program Coordinator, also stopped by to share information about the After School Program here at Franklin to ensure our programming is fostering stronger connections to our school community. Thank you to all our Franklin Staff who supported the planning and execution of this event!
As we look at the images captured during this special event, we see the faces of dedication, courage, and unity. From the proud parents in uniform to the bright-eyed children and our supportive staff, each picture tells a story of commitment - to country, to family, and to education. Franklin Falcon's Middle School extends our heartfelt thanks to all military families for their service and for enriching our school community with their presence and experiences. Your contributions make our nation and our school stronger.
Thank you.
